Typical OVHL Season Details |

OVHL Summer games are typically played during the week, usually on Tuesday
nights.
Winter games are typically played on the weekend, usually on Sunday nights.

Summer season is a short season typically about 14 games including playoffs.
It usually starts in June and registration is usually posted in late
May.
Winter season is longer, typically about 24 games including playoffs.
It usually starts in October and registration is usually posted in
September. |

OVHL does not use substitute skaters. If it is mid-season, you must wait
until the following season to skate.

All games are played at Olympicview Arena. |

There is a
MANDATORY Evaluation skate every season. There are 2 sessions,
early and late, divided by last name alphabet. A typical arrangement is shown
below, but times may vary season to season: |

7:30 - 8:00 pm Mandatory Meeting
8:00 - 8:15 pm Dress
8:15 - 9:30 pm Eval & Scrimmage

8:45 - 9:15 pm Mandatory Meeting

OVHL drafts 4 teams of
about 14 skaters each. |

Cost is typically about $20 per game. USAH registration is required and is
$30 per year. Your fee provides
the season games (1.25 hrs. per game), USAH
referees, scorekeeper, and jersey (to be returned at season end) |
